Location, view and rates
I am looking for a good-value ocean-view hotel in Seogwipo. What are the rates?
Hotel Seogwipean is a 30-room boutique hotel where every room has an ocean view. Rates start at KRW 94,000 per night and vary by date. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are included, and bookings made through Naver or the official website receive a KRW 10,000 Boraed Bakers voucher.
Do all rooms have an ocean view? Can I see Munseom Island?
Yes. Every room faces the sea with a direct view of Munseom Island and the Seogwipo coast. Munseom is a 5-minute walk away.
Where in Seogwipo is the hotel?
178 Bomok-ro 64beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, on the Bomok-dong coast. Jeju Olle Trail Route 6 passes right in front of the hotel; Bomok Port is 7 minutes on foot and the summit of Jejigi Oreum 10 minutes.
Rooms
Is there an ondol (floor-style) room? Does it have a bed?
We have 3 ondol rooms. They are Korean floor-style rooms with no bed; two sets of Korean bedding are provided. 23.1㎡, for 2 guests and up to 3 adults, also with an ocean view.
What room types and sizes are there?
Standard Queen, 15 rooms (23.6㎡, one queen bed); Standard Twin, 9 rooms (23.6㎡, two single beds); Deluxe Queen, 3 rooms (30㎡, one queen bed, up to 3 adults); Ondol, 3 rooms (23.1㎡, floor-style). All rooms are ocean-view and non-smoking.
Is the hotel suited to solo travellers, couples or families?
Standard Queen and Twin rooms sleep 2; Deluxe Queen and Ondol rooms sleep up to 3 adults. Children aged 4 and under are not counted (please let us know in advance). Extra bedding set KRW 20,000, folding single bed KRW 25,000.
Facilities
Is there a swimming pool, sauna or gym?
No. The only facilities are the Boraed Bakers bakery café on the ground floor, a self check-in kiosk in the lobby, free parking and an EV charger. Some booking sites list a pool; that is incorrect.
Is there a bakery inside the hotel?
Yes. Boraed Bakers, run by the hotel, is on the ground floor. It is open daily 08:00–20:00 (last order 19:20); hotel guests receive 10% off, and non-guests are welcome. Tel 0507-1314-1450.
Is parking and EV charging available?
Free self-parking with no reservation needed. The above- and below-ground car parks have at least one space per room, and a 50kW fast EV charger with 4 charging ports is on site.

How far is Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market?
About 7 minutes by car (about 3.3km). It is a different place from Olle Trail Route 6, which passes in front of the hotel.

How do I get there from Jeju Airport?
About 1 hour by car. By bus, take bus 600 from Gate 5 to the Seogwipo KAL Hotel terminus and walk about 1.1km, or take bus 182 or 800 to Seogwipo Registry Office and continue by bus 520 or taxi.

Stay and booking
Is there a benefit for booking direct?
Bookings made through Naver Booking or the official website receive one KRW 10,000 Boraed Bakers voucher per booking. Bookings through Agoda, Yanolja, Booking.com and other sites are not eligible.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in and check-out are contactless at the lobby kiosk. Check-in from 16:00 (arrivals until 23:00), check-out by 11:00.
Can I check in early or check out late?
Yes, by advance reservation, at KRW 7,500 per 30 minutes. Reservations: 0507-1311-8320.
How is breakfast served?
At Boraed Bakers on the ground floor, 08:00–11:00: a croissant sandwich, Greek yoghurt and a drink (americano, tangerine juice or blueberry-banana protein). KRW 16,000 per person. Breakfast ends at 11:00.
What is the cancellation policy?
For bookings of up to 4 rooms: free until 4 days before check-in, a 25% fee 3 days before, 50% 2 days before, and 100% 1 day before or on the day. Fees are based on the rate of the first night.
Are pets or smoking allowed?
Pets are not allowed and all rooms are non-smoking.
Is service available in other languages?
We assist in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese, and the website and booking page are available in all four languages.
