Open from eight in the morning

Boraed Bakers is the bakery café on the ground floor of Hotel Seogwipean. It opens daily at 08:00 and closes at 20:00, with last orders at 19:20. It is one of the few cafés around Bomok open at eight, so many people stop in before walking the Olle trail.

It is not reserved for hotel guests — anyone can come in for bread and coffee. The hotel car park is shared, so there is somewhere to leave the car.

The bread is baked here and the coffee is brewed from beans we roast ourselves. What is on the counter changes with the baking schedule and the day.

Munseom Island from the window seats

It is the same building as the hotel, so the view is the same: Munseom Island and the Seogwipo sea fill the window, and on a clear day you can see Seopseom too. The outdoor terrace has parasol seating.

Jeju Olle Trail Route 6 passes the building. Bomok Port is a seven-minute walk and the summit of Jejigi Oreum ten, where Munseom, Seopseom and the sea come into view at once.

The address is 178 Bomok-ro 64beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju. Jeju International Airport is about an hour by car; by bus, take the 600 to the Seogwipo KAL Hotel terminus and walk about 1.1 km.

Breakfast for hotel guests

Breakfast is served to hotel guests from 08:00 to 11:00: a croissant sandwich, Greek yogurt and one drink, at 16,000 KRW per person. The drink is your choice of americano, tangerine juice, or blueberry-banana protein.

Breakfast is by prior arrangement — simply add it when you book your room.

Guests also receive 10% off at the bakery outside of breakfast. Many people pick up bread on their way out after checking out.

What they serve

Bread baked that morning goes out on the counter — croissants and other pastries, loaves for a meal, and desserts. What is available changes with the baking schedule and the ingredients of the day.

Coffee is brewed from beans roasted in house. Alongside americano and the rest of the coffee menu there are drinks such as Jeju tangerine juice and a blueberry-banana protein shake. The croissant sandwich and Greek yogurt served at breakfast are also popular à la carte outside breakfast hours.

Takeaway is available. Many people pick up bread and coffee before setting off on the Olle trail, or grab a loaf on their way out after checking out.
